Santa Claus

Santa Claus will be touring the East County area in the Burtonsville Volunteer Fire Department's restored classic 1952 Chevrolet American Lafrance fire engine. The schedule is tentative and subject to weather and other delays, so please check back often for updates.

Due to safety concerns, Santa runs will not occur In the event of rain other inclement weather. We strive to bring Santa to every community served by the Burtonsville VFD, and any schedule changes will be posted to this site as they occur.

Look for Santa in these areas on these dates in 2007:

McKnew Road area

Wednesday, Dec 12
Old Columbia Pike north of Briggs Chaney Road, Wexhall areas

Tuesday, Dec 18
Tanglewood, Calverton, Fairland Road area west of Rt. 29

Wednesday, Dec 19
Good Hope and Peach Orchard areas, Briggs Chaney west of Rt. 29

Thursday, Dec 20
Blackburn and Riding Stable Rd. areas, Rt. 198 west of Peach Orchard

Dec 23 and 24
Make up dates for scheduled runs delayed by weather, emergency call load, and other factors

Weeknight runs begin at 6:30 PM, Sunday runs begin at approximately 12:30 PM
